BRC20 is an experimental format standard for issuing fungible tokens on the Bitcoin network. The main difference between BRC20 and ERC20 lies in the fact that the Bitcoin network does not support smart contracts.
Instead, BRC20 accomplishes token contract deployment, minting, and transfer by utilizing the Ordinals protocol, which sets inscriptions in JSON data format. In other words, developers can create and issue fungible tokens using the Ordinals protocol.
Checklist
- Open your OKX App, select Web3
- Go to More, select NFT > Inscriptions

- On the Inscriptions page
- Select your preferred BRC20 token and select List
- If you have no assets, you can select Inscribe transfer
- Enter the amount you want to inscribe and select Next
- Select Confirm once you make sure all the information is accurate
- You can select the inscription once it reaches 3 blocks of confirmation and select List for sale
- Select the inscription you want to list/sell the token
- Enter your preferred price for the inscription in the Set price field and select List
- Select Confirm listing once you make sure all the information is accurate
