What's Take Profit and Stop Loss (TP/SL)?

Take Profit and Stop Loss (TP/SL, also referred to as TPSL) is a type of conditional order in futures trading. You preset a trigger price and an order price. When the selected trigger price (Last Price / Mark Price / Index Price) reaches the predefined trigger level, the system will automatically place your preset order into the market.

  1. Enter positions based on breakout strategies

  4. Set take profit and stop loss when opening a position
  5. Go to the Futures trading page > Enter your trade Amount > Check TP/SL
  6. Enter the TP price and SL price. Or, you can also select Advanced to set TP/SL or Trailing stop, then select Confirm.
  7. Select Open long or Open short
  8. Set take profit and stop loss on your position
  9. Go to the Futures trading page > Select Open positions
  10. Select the specific position > Tap TP/SL
  11. Set TP/SL or Trailing TP/SL > Select Confirm to complete the setup
  12. On the web

Close a position to lock in profits (Take Profit)

Close a position to limit potential losses (Stop Loss)
