What’s Solana account rent recovery?
On the Solana network, users need to prepay a small amount of SOL as account rent to store data on-chain. In simple terms, when you interact with a token for the first time (for example, receiving a new coin), the network creates a dedicated on-chain account for that token and deducts a small amount of SOL from your wallet as rent.

Notes
Each Solana token and NFT has its own independent account, and this account must hold a minimum amount of SOL to remain active. When the balance of a token or NFT account reaches zero, you can recover the previously paid SOL rent by closing the account through the rent recovery mechanism.
Before claiming rent, make sure the selected Solana token account doesn’t hold any tokens or NFTs. Claiming rent will close the token account, and rent can only be recovered if the account balance is zero.
Do I need to pay network fees to claim Solana rent?
Yes. Claiming Solana rent requires paying on-chain network fees. The exact fee will be shown on the page before you confirm.
