To enrich the term structure of expiry futures and meet users' demand for longer-dated hedging, basis-locking, carry and calendar-spread trading, OKX will make the following change on the web, app and API at 16:00 on July 21, 2026 (Tuesday) (UTC+8) [exact time subject to the actual release]:

  2. Add Tri-quarterly and Quad-quarterly expiry dates to Coin-Margined (CM) expiry futures.
  3. This change applies to all listed expiry futures underlyings.
  4. The following contracts will be newly generated
  5. BTCUSD-25JUN27 (Tri-quarterly), BTCUSD-24SEP27 (Quad-quarterly)
  6. ETHUSD-25JUN27 (Tri-quarterly), ETHUSD-24SEP27 (Quad-quarterly)
  7. Coin-Margined Expiry Futures — Generation Rules

Notes

Add Tri-quarterly and Quad-quarterly expiry dates to Coin-Margined (CM) expiry futures.

This change applies to all listed expiry futures underlyings.

BTCUSD-25JUN27 (Tri-quarterly), BTCUSD-24SEP27 (Quad-quarterly)
